We all have those moments that stand out. What is most memorable to you and why?

Probably my first title, which happened in the USFL (called the Walker Bowl named after Herschel Walker). I was relatively new to FOF and this was only my 2nd year in the USFL. Where the plot thickens is the criticism sent my way for making a controversial trade before the season (5 high draft picks for a 4th year RB). After all, what does this newbie know. But my Wichita Harvesters were stacked and only needed a ground game become an elite team. And Quinn Baxter, the RB, was an all-purpose back who could also catch passes and return kicks and punts.
So, we won the Walker Bowl 47-28. And, oh, Mr. Baxter scored 3 TDs and notched 416 all-purpose yards. Wichita has never looked back, winning 5 Walker Bowls and 22 of the last 24 division titles.

I thought you were going to say finishing the 100m sq extension to your house to fit all your FOF titles in !

Winning my first Bowl (and only one...so far) with my first MP game - the Minnesota Vikings in WillieB's APFL - I'd picked up QB Lamar De Groh on a cheapish contract for an elite QB and he guided the franchise alongside a lot of older vets that had been with the team since draft day - it was the Vikings first Bowl victory to boot.

Great stories so far. For me, there are two distinct moments that will stick out, but unfortunately they were both negative and things that still chap my ass to this day. Despite the fact that they happen eight and ten years (RL) back respectively. The first is my devastating loss in my first MP against the legendary Nick the "Hammer" in the infamous Jose Turner play that broke my heart and set us back years. To make matters worse Jose Turner was a rookie that year and Nick and I nearly made a deal for me to jump up and draft him, but I was not willing to pay the price that he wanted for the pick. Needless to say it cost us a championship and started a decade of dominance that he had over me. I think I have 3 or 4 wins against him all-time spanning over all the various leagues we've played in over the years. You can see the play that I'm referencing HEREThe other one was also in the NAFL and involved one of the great tragedies that I've ever experienced in all my years playing FOF. This was right smack dab in the era where sense rush was king. I traded up with a division foe and created the first league controversy that I ever experienced as I was creative with the deal and worked out "Future Considerations" with the other GM which basically resulted in my giving him (5) total firsts and a couple of 2nds to draft this stud. Then the guy tears his knee up (missed two seasons and loses half his ratings) setting my franchise back years.

Jose Turner is on my list. It was a Hollywood end to bowl just when it looked like we were up against it. The bad guy got wasted and suffered for 10 years.
The vNFL Bowls against Bear. We had some equally Hollywood encounters.
GEFL. My first bowls were in the RDFL, but the GEFL was where I first rubbed shoulders with the FOFC guys as a noob and I did really well. Coming in to an awful team and drafting Jerry Rice with his BPR and trading for Steve Bartkowski with his huge SR bar helped a lot.
CyFL. It was pretty cool to win money and bowls in one hit. Roughly $3000 over the 12 seasons I played. Reading a game with with decent sums on the line is pretty cool.
More recently the RZB has provided a lot of enjoyment. You can't beat a Hollywood Super bowl, we have had some good ones Rob.

The rivalry you had with Bear was one of the best I've ever seen span throughout the leagues I've played in. True two super powers with everyone else begging for scraps. The early days of RZB was similar on a smaller scale, but nothing like those days. I also remember a pretty good rivalry you had with Timmy in the NAFL with the Vikings and Bears.

I'd have to say my back to back Super Bowls in NAFL. That was pretty sweet. Unexpected for sure. I must have been using the right dice those two seasons.

I haven't really had any great successes or tragedies so the most memorable thing was probably Big Play Clay randomly pulling a 6 TD performance out of his ass to end was would have rather been a very pedestrian season.
