Let's face it, while the game has it's issues and IMO is inferior to FOF7, the game is not total shit. What do you like best and why?

I like FOF 8 over FOF 7, primarily because of the offensive game planning feature. You can run a variety of offensive styles and even emphasize a lot of passing or running without getting familiars. That was difficult in prior versions.
Also, with an effective GP, you can dictate the flow of the game - just feels more like a real NFL game.

I like the fact that it's tough to repeat and create a dynasty. The game is much more random in that way than prior versions.

I like the fact that cap is a much harder challenge.....like it should be. Small thing but I also like that you can only carry two QBs.
Other than that I am struggling though.....FOF8 gameplanning is a massive step in the wrong direction in my view.

The offensive game planning feature is second to none. If only the OC ALWAYS followed the plays in order like he is suppose to. I also like the deeper draft classes. You can find 60 rated players in the middle rounds quite often, which didn't happen much on the previous game.

Although the gameplanning in FOF8 gives you a lot of power it's also a pain up the arse, for instance my QB has just gone down for 4 weeks in the RBZ, he has 94 scrambling, the backup has 30, i have now almost got to put in a new gameplan for those 3 weeks and it's a lot of hard work to build a new gameplan let alone get it right. It may be good but its so clunky to use it makes it painful and I think this encourages rexing which is not a good thing for the game.
